CECILY CONROY

Cecily Conroy is the Head of Equity Capital Markets Advisory for KPMG Australia and has specialised in equity capital markets and corporate finance advisory for 19 years.

Cecily provides strategic and tactical advice to clients on raising equity in the global capital markets, such as helping private companies prepare for an IPO, listed companies to raise new equity or strategic shareholders to monetise a stake in a listed entity.  

Cecily has advised on a broad spectrum of equity capital market transactions raising c.A$50 billion in gross proceeds across Australian, New Zealand, Asian, European and US equity markets. Her deal experience spans all major sectors, deal types and sizes, including a number of landmark transactions.

Prior to joining KPMG in 2017, Cecily worked in investment banking for 13 years as an equity capital markets specialist for a global financial advisory firm and in the ECM division of a global investment bank as a Bookrunner and Underwriter.
