GEORGE HENDRATA

George Hendrata is currently the CEO of tiket.com. Previously he was the Chairman of BMJ, third largest specialty paper company globally and Djarum’s Director of Business Development/Diversification. He specialises in starting greenfield companies/divisions and in turnaround/restructuring situations. Prior to that, he was with the Boston Consulting Group’s Jakarta office and advised clients in the banking, consumer goods and telecommunication sectors. George began his career at Motorola’s paging division in Florida, USA and later cellular phone division in Chicago, USA.

George has a Bachelor of Science degree from Columbia University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. In his spare time, he enjoys being involved with impactful Social Enterprises.
