KL-born Hann Liew is a fintech entrepreneur who co-founded RinggitPlus (part of Jirnexu Group) and an angel investor and advisor who has invested in more than 10 startups across FinTech, SaaS, eCommerce, media, and logistics since 2015. After a successful career in investment banking in the UK from 2007-2010, he returned to Malaysia and was deeply embedded within the burgeoning local FinTech scene on top of building RinggitPlus. He was also a member of the National Economic Action Council (EAC) from 2019 – 2020.
Hann is also a licensed financial planner who has helped over 1,000 Malaysians put themselves on the path to financial freedom over the past 2 years. Hann qualifications include a BSc in Business Mathematics and Statistics (LSE, UK – 2007), a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) since 2012, a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) in 2016, and a CMSRL (Financial Planning) Licensed Director in 2020.
