Jefrey Joe is a serial entrepreneur and seasoned investor. In 2015, he co-founded Alpha JWC Ventures, an early- to growth-stage Southeast Asian ventures capital firm with an Indonesia focus. The firm currently manages around $500mn across three active funds and 49 active portfolio companies.
Prior to founding Alpha JWC Ventures, Jefrey had experience in running technology companies when he co-founded Alterra, Indonesia’s pioneer online bill payment aggregator company, and was the COO of Groupon Indonesia. In addition, Jefrey has been an angel investor in multiple early-stage tech startups in Asia and the United States. Jefrey also spent few years as a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group and Ernst & Young.
Jefrey currently sits on the board of some of Indonesia's fastest growing startups including Kopi Kenangan, Kredivo, Ajaib and Lemonilo. He obtained his MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and graduated from Harvard Business School’s Owner/President Management Program. Jefrey is also member of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).
