Joanna is the president of the Association of Cryptocurrency Journalists and Researchers, the vice president of Singapore's Foreign Correspondents Association and a past president of the Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing, for which she still chairs the Best in Business Awards contest. She has a bachelor's degree in chemistry and classical civilizations from Cornell University and a master's in public policy from Georgetown University. She is a native of Colorado.
