SEAN LEE

Sean is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in Web3 innovation, cloud strategy and FinTech, and has been quoted in Reuters, Forbes, Bloomberg Businessweek, Hong Kong Economic Journal, amongst others. He is currently consulting for the Crypto Council for Innovation (CCI) as their APAC Strategist, delivering on its mission to demonstrate the transformational promise of crypto and communicate its benefits to policy makers, regulators and startup communities around the globe.

He is also advising a number of startups in the crypto and blockchain space, as well as being a mentor within the MIT Entrepreneurship & FinTech Innovation Node. His career has taken him through being the CEO of a top layer-1 blockchain protocol (Algorand Foundation, top-20 token by market cap during his tenure), Regional Director of a cloud-native software development pioneer (Pivotal, IPO on NYSE and since acquired by VMware), and Managing Director at a global data infrastructure and computing conglomerate (Dell Technologies).

Sean holds an EMBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Computer Science degree from the University of Waterloo in Canada.  Being an avid Star Wars fan and a crypto enthusiast, he has recently started a podcast channel #CryptoStarWarsFan on YouTube.
