ANNE EDWARDS

ANNE EDWARDS is a Media Icon, Journalist, Corporate Figure, Master Trainer, Public Speaker and Adventurer who has hosted hundreds of talk show episodes both live and recorded on business and current affairs. Most prominent ones being programs on Bernama TV’s Biztalk, Swot Watch and Hello Malaysia (bilingual). Both Biztalk and Swot Watch showcases companies, industry leaders, their success and challenges. She also anchored the weekday show Bernama Today which focuses on Bursa Malaysia and what moves markets.

She has trained hundreds of industry leaders including former Chief Judge of Malaya Norma Yaakob to face the media. A winner of the Special Jury Award at the prestigious Red Ribbon Media Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Web-based Media, Anne won a scholarship to attend the 22nd International AIDS Conference in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Being in the print and online media, radio and TV for the past 30 years, Anne has held exciting tenures at the Star newspaper, TV3, RTM, NTV7, Astro, Bernama Radio, Bernama TV, Bloomberg TV Malaysia and Perdana Leadership Foundation as the Exec Sec of former PM Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.  

Highlights of her career include covering the 2001 World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, the 2008 US Elections, reporting from Ground Zero on the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Centre in New York, One-on-One with former British Premier Tony Blair, Singapore Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew, Myanmar pro-democracy leader Aung San Su Kyi, South Africa’s 1st black President Nelson Mandela and former Malaysian PM Mahathir Mohamad.

A prominent Master of Ceremonies for government and corporate events, Anne also sits as Director at Anne Edwards & Co, a media production company that she founded. She was the Managing Editor of Bloomberg TV Malaysia and is now the Associate News Editor at The Vibes, a Petra News Company.
