development of a future innovation economy. Its main role is to stimulate the economy through investments in innovative fast-growing businesses.

• Prior to his appointment, Taufiq was in Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan) as Director of Research.

• He had also served ValueCap Group as Chief Executive Officer of VCAP Asset Managers.

• Armed with 15 years of experience in the fund management business, he has a deep commitment to the development of viable as well as vibrant capital market in Malaysia.
