Belinda’s passion is to bridge disruptive technologies to the masses. Her expertise lies in new venture creation with innovative technologies such as DeFi, Metaverse, blockchain, cloud computing, fintech, etc.
Belinda is a serial entrepreneur, Singapore Representative of Women in Blockchain Asia, and the co-founder of Avarta.io which aims to reimagine Trust for DeFi and Web3.0 applications through a decentralized identity management system and Trust Scoring. A five-year blockchain veteran, she had advised several blockchain startups which have since raised millions of dollars. Her past portfolio includes leading a team behind the formation of a multi-million Joint Venture with a Singapore government-linked entity.
Belinda has also published a book on Blockchain for ladies, Blocklass, that demystifies blockchain and shines insights into various career paths in the cryptocurrency space.
Belinda holds a Masters in Technopreneurship and Innovation from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore). She is a Registered Management Consultant (RMC) and serves as an Entrepreneurship Mentor at Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) in her free time.
