SITI NURUL NARIZAH MOHD NIZAR

Siti is passionate at spotting niche startups’ technology in the energy and industrial globally, aligning resources to co-create value and positive sustainable impact for PETRONAS. She has more than 15 years’ experience in the oil & gas industry, having started her career practicing engineering immersed in the field of design engineering, offshore projects and construction, gas plant operations, and then moved her role in strategy and commercial sector including corporate transformation, portfolio management in Upstream Business. She is one of a few select people identified and selected to set up the corporate venture capital team of PETRONAS Ventures back in 2018.

She holds a First-Class Degree of Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Loughborough University, United Kingdom.

She contributed to co-author a study report on corporate venturing and open innovation titled “Open Innovation-Improving Your Capability, Deal Flow, Cost and Speed With a Corporate Venturing Ecosystem” published by IESE Business School Barcelona, with other chief innovation experts across North and South America and Europe, which the report aims to shed some light on which corporate venturing enablers should be used, and when, while debunking some frequent myths regarding corporates teaming up with enablers to boost innovation capability and efficiency.
