SHAHRIL HAMDAN

Shahril Hamdan is the Economic Director in the Prime Minister’s Office of Malaysia. He is also UMNO Information Chief and Deputy Youth Chief. He read Economics and Politics at the University of Manchester before attending the London School of Economics and Political Science as a Chevening Scholar, where he obtained a Masters in Sociology. He previously served as a policy officer to YB Khairy Jamaluddin before working for Teach for Malaysia, an independent non-profit organization. He then worked as a management consultant with McKinsey and Co and was also a former CEO of an upstream oil and gas services company.
